AutoBronze Warranty FAQs
The warranty covers specified mechanical and electrical components of the vehicle that fail unexpectedly. This includes parts like the engine's electronic control unit, water pump, wheel bearings, manual gearbox internal components, and other aspects detailed in your policy booklet.
Vehicles eligible for coverage must be less than 12 years old with fewer than 140,000 miles at the start of the policy. The vehicle must be mechanically sound, fully roadworthy, designed for private use on public highways, and primarily used in the UK.
The warranty does not cover components like brake calipers, all internal and external lamps, LEDs, wiring connections, external fluid leaks, and any parts not explicitly listed as covered in the policy booklet.
Stop using your vehicle if it shows signs of fault, and have it diagnosed by a VAT registered repairer. If a valid warranty claim is suspected, contact Best4 immediately for authorisation before any repair work begins.
Yes, the warranty can be transferred to a new private owner under specific conditions. This includes no outstanding claims and no finance on the policy. An administration fee may apply.
Your vehicle must be serviced according to the manufacturer’s recommendations, at a VAT registered garage.
The same claims procedure applies within the EU, with the addition of sending the service history and other relevant documents upon your return to the UK.

You may cancel within 14 days of the policy issue for a full refund if no claims are made. Outside this period, cancellation is possible under specific conditions with a potential administration fee. Details are provided on page 18.
Claims can be rejected if the vehicle is not serviced as required, or if there's neglect, misuse, or modifications not approved by the manufacturer. Complete conditions and exclusions are available throughout the policy booklet.
We offer flexible payment instalments of 6, 12, 24, and 36-month options to suit your needs.
We typically advise choosing from our network of Approved Repairers, who are assessed to ensure top-quality service and repair. However, if you have a preferred garage, make sure it is VAT registered and adheres to the 'Repairs Procedure' detailed in our plan booklet and confirm that their labour rates are compatible with those specified in your warranty schedule.
Every Best4 policy includes a 14-day money-back guarantee with no questions asked. You can cancel your plan anytime within the first 14 days. If you haven't initiated any repair claims, we will process the cancellation and issue a full refund of your payment.
After the 14-day period, if you have not made a claim, you can still receive a pro rata refund based on the number of months remaining, subject to the deduction of an administration fee.
