How does motorcycle warranty work?

If a covered part fails, stop using your bike and contact us immediately. You must obtain pre-authorisation for repairs. Our straightforward claims process involves a network of VAT registered garages to handle repairs, covering parts and labour up to your claim limit.

Who is eligible for the motorcycle warranty?

Coverage is available for vehicles that are less than 10 years old and have less than 100,000 miles at the start of the policy. The vehicle must be mechanically sound, used primarily for private purposes, and mainly operated in the UK.

How do I file a claim if my motorbike breaks down?

If your vehicle shows signs of a fault, stop using it immediately and contact the Best4 Claims Department. You must obtain authorisation before any repairs are started.

Can I transfer the Auto Cycle Warranty if I sell my vehicle?

Yes, you can transfer the warranty to a new private owner, under specific conditions such as no outstanding claims and no finance on the vehicle, for an administrative fee.

What are the servicing requirements to maintain my motorcycle warranty coverage?

Your vehicle must be serviced according to the manufacturer’s recommendations at a VAT registered garage.

Yes, you must follow the procedure outlined in your policy booklet, which includes obtaining authorisation for repairs and submitting full particulars of the vehicle's service history upon return to the UK.

What are the payment options?

We offer flexible payment instalments of 12 and 24-month options to suit your needs.

What if I prefer to use my own garage for repairs?

We typically advise choosing from our network of Approved Repairers, who are assessed to ensure top-quality service and repair. However, if you have a preferred garage, make sure it is VAT registered and adheres to the 'Repairs Procedure' detailed in our plan booklet and confirm that their labour rates are compatible with those specified in your warranty schedule.

Is it possible to cancel my plan and get a full refund?

Every Best4 policy includes a 14-day money-back guarantee with no questions asked. You can cancel your plan anytime within the first 14 days. If you haven't initiated any repair claims, we will process the cancellation and issue a full refund of your payment.

After the 14-day period, if you have not made a claim, you can still receive a pro rata refund based on the number of months remaining, subject to the deduction of an administration fee.
